There is a particular kind of exhaustion that comes from living online. The pressure to create, consume, perform, and keep pace has become the backdrop of modern life, blurring the boundaries between work, rest, connection, and isolation.

In Blue Light Burnout, photographer Sami Weller captures that feeling with cinematic softness and raw honesty. Set inside a rundown London house, the story follows a cast of dreamers drifting through borrowed light, sleepless routines, and the quiet moments that exist between notifications. Styled in a mix of vintage finds, designer pieces, and well-worn favourites, the series reflects a generation suspended between urgency and apathy - digitally connected, emotionally distant, and craving something slower.

The result is a striking portrait of contemporary youth culture: wired-in, burnt-out, and still searching for moments of softness amid the static.
