APOTHECARY EAST; FESTIVE FUN!

When entering into the East London Izakaya-inspired bar and restaurant, Apothecary East you can't help but feel excited by the inviting, high-spirited atmosphere and elegant surroundings. It gives you the feeling that you're entering into an exclusive party. The friendly and attentive staff are at the ready to get the party started and kick things off for my guest and I by presenting us with the Sake Bomb ritual. For those not in the know this involves a carefully balanced shot of sake on chopsticks over a glass of beer or cider. An ‘ichi. ni. san!' countdown is followed by fist slams on the table and shots dropping into the drink below, which you then quickly drink. It's a fun way to get your guests going, or a great ice-breaker if on a date. Pink cider and alcohol-free options are also available, so everyone can get in on the Sake Bomb action!

The modern Japanese food is just as vibrant as the atmosphere and consists of small plates that you can take your time over. You can enjoy new feasting menus with feature signature favourites, including moreish Miso Aubergine and Kakuni BBQ Pork Belly alongside festive specials such as Winter Sprout Shiozuke and Christmas Karaage with a Chilli Cranberry Mayo. Miso Toffee Pudding Bites offer a delicious sweet treat to end on. Feast menus are available from mid-November through to Christmas, with prices from £35.00 to £65.00 per head and if you're feeling bouji, there's the option to add Wagyu Bavette- treat your self this holday season!

If you are after somewhere for sharing and feeling that festive fun, Apothecary East offers a unique experience that is well suited for groups.
