It's hard to find a lipstick with staying power. I've tried them all, and in my experience they don't stand a chance against an animated speaker and messy eater. Today, Iranian superstar and Choose Love ambassador Shab celebrates the release of her latest track LIPSTICK... and yes, her lipstick stays on for the whole music video.
The track, which has an '80s dance hall feel to it, is bound to be a summer anthem. You can't help but want to join Shab at the side of the pool where she sits in the music video, sipping champagne as she seduces the pool boy. Co-written and produced with long-time collaborators Eric Zayne, Naz Tokio, and Damon Sharpe, the track showcases Shab’s distinctive world-pop style. Along with Exotica, which dives deep into the erotic mysticism of love and desire, Lipstick also captures the playful, seductive side of Shab.

It's hard to imagine that this same woman arrived in America alone aged 14, carrying her life in a suitcase, speaking only speaking German and Farsi. Now, the singer songwriter has the attention of the world as she tells her story through her aptly titled sophomore album, 'One Suitcase'. The album takes us on a journey through her life, from fleeing fundamentalism to seizing every opportunity she could to reinvent herself.

With over 25million YouTube views and 13million Spotify streams, the singer has a huge fanbase around the world. Having listened to Lipstick earlier today and with it replaying in my head since, I might not have found a lipstick that stays on my mouth, but I have found one that's stuck in my head, and you know what, I'm happy with that.
