After the success of their previous collaboration back in December 2018 Cat Footwear and Axel Arigato fuse their unique and strong aesthetics once again to create yet another style blazing collection for Autumn/Winter 2019. This new drop sees an extension of their initial designs with new bolder colorways. The unconventionality of both brands had previously merged to give Cat's INTRUDER trainers a sleek Scandinavian touch - courtesy of Swedish Arigato's signature design aesthetic while maintaining the functionality, strength, and durability of Cat's design and manufacturing key elements.
Autumn/Winter'19 named the ‘Excelsior’ sees a slightly different silhouette coming forward combining elements of workwear with a modern upper. This season also introduces a bold new colorway. When speaking on the color palette for the new season Creative Director and Co-founder Max Svardh said “the distinctive orange color is the key shade for the second collaboration as it is striking and attention-grabbing. This particular orange is commonly used in industrial contexts to make a statement, so we wanted to utilize it throughout the collection as it reminds people that they are wearing a powerful piece.”
