Timberland has partnered with Joy Crookes, the three-time BRIT nominee and one of the UK’s fastest rising music artists, to ensure a legacy for the ‘My Community, our Nature’ campaign that they launched together last year.
F Word headed down to the event where we were welcomed by the community of South London, which saw a crowd of over 500 people throughout the day. Visitors could expect to feast on delicious dishes (shoutout to the brownies!) and fruity thirst-quenchers, along with arts and crafts stalls from local vendors and national Park City Rangers. As the evening settled-in we saw adorable performances from young children from the youth club and local area, along with the pièce de résistance, Joy Crookes' moving performance that provided a dose of goosebumps (and maybe even a little tear, or two).
Overall, it was a welcomed reminder of how important building a community, a greener world, and providing an open space for people from all different walks of life to come together and thrive really is.
