Now, steadily emerging as one of the most intriguing voices within the Nordic alternative scene, Venus Anon returns with gentle, a restrained yet emotionally charged new single that continues to expand the atmospheric world she has been building over the last few years.

Written during a three-month stay in a cabin while laying the foundations for her debut album, due in 2027, gentle emerged from a period of emotional heaviness, becoming both a creative release and a reflection on choosing softness in moments where anger threatens to take over. Intimate, controlled, and quietly intense, the track captures the tension between vulnerability and restraint without ever losing sight of the emotion simmering beneath its surface.

Built through experimentation with guitar tuning and fragments of older material, gentle feels instinctive in both sound and structure. There is a sense of closeness to the track, as though it exists somewhere between a private thought and a confession, while Venus Anon’s understated delivery gives the song a calmness that only makes its emotional weight hit harder.
