Uniformed with Uncertainty, captured by Max Lancaster, is inspired by conversations with people who have recently moved to London - from overseas or smaller towns across the UK - grappling with the challenge of finding their footing and forming new connections.

The concept is especially personal, drawing from the experience of stylist, Lucy E. Roach, who relocated from Nottingham and has felt this sense of displacement firsthand.

The models are dressed in early 19th-century uniforms, wandering the streets of London looking lost and uncertain - a visual metaphor for young people navigating a new city while chasing their dreams.

All photographs are hand printed, adding a tangible, timeless quality to the narrative.
