Welcome to the house of Prettifun and its musical madness, in the very best way. At just 19, the Charlotte, North Carolina rapper/producer is rewriting the rules of underground rap with a palette that’s loud, lo-fi, and full of life. If rap’s been brooding in the corner for a minute, Prettifun is the one spinning the mirrorball back onto the scene, and with today’s release of his FunHouse Deluxe album (out August 1), the doors have officially swung wide open. The expanded 30-track project (yes, thirty) features 15 brand new cuts, further dialling into what makes Prettifun impossible to box in: bass-boosted chaos meets melodic world-building, with lyrics that somehow juggle grief, grind, and humour all in one breath.
Since his 2024 breakout, Prettifun’s gone from bedroom setups to stage-shaking performances at Lyrical Lemonade’s Summer Smash, not to mention supporting Ken Carson on the More Chaos tour. And now, with FunHouse Deluxe, Prettifun is reaching great heights.
