LAYERED was created in memory of Leia, to hold space for trans and non‑binary creativity. Our print beauty story, Not Artificial, brings that intention to life through an editorial led by trans and non‑binary creatives, capturing all the depth, humour, grit, and tenderness that come with that lived experience.

A raw, defiant exploration by artist Jack Oliver, created as a visceral response to a world increasingly flooded with artificial perfection. This shoot stands as a manifesto — alive, tactile, imperfect, and powerfully real.

Returning to the physical — to latex, sweat, pigment, texture — this piece rejects digital gloss in favour of something handmade and deeply human. Each detail is sculpted with intention, emotion, and the urgent need for queer visibility in creation.
