As part of a new series, F Word asked Nieve to give us an insight into her world through showcasing a day in the life where she provides us with a rare glimpse into the studio (and happy-place) where the magic is made.
We also got the chance to ask some questions to get to know this captivating new artist a little better ahead of her exciting tour which begins today and will see her supporting Irish rock band Inhaler!
LISTEN TO NIEVE ELLA
FW: If you had to assign a temperature, a colour and a taste to this single/EP/album, what would they be?
N: Okay, temperature, Im saying summer vibes - 23 degrees, not too hot. Colour would be green, earthy tones, it’s giving growth. It would taste like camomile tea.
FW: Go-to lunch on a studio/writing day?
N: Tesco meal deal: Tuna and cucumber sandwich, a box of pineapple and a rainbow naked smoothy.
FW: If you had to choose a new career completely outside of anything having to do with music, what would it be?
N: I’d volunteer to work in a rescue centre for animals. I’d love to work in Australia with Steve Irwin's son. Legend.
FW: What's bringing the most joy to your days lately?
N: Writing new music and being in the studio. I’ve been in the studio a lot the last few weeks and it’s made me so happy.
FW: Do you believe in manifestation?
N: Yes I do!! I actually manifested this whole life I’ve got, being an artist and working in music. I think it’s really important to keep a positive mindset in difficult situations. I do a lot of affirmations, I think it’s good for your head.
FW: What is your favourite F Word?
N: Fuck it (stream His Sofa)
