Mysterium Noctis, the mystery of the night, transports the viewer to a world where beauty is found in embracing the unknown. This tale of ethereal darkness explores the juxtaposition of a delicate creature existing within the deepest of shadows. Stylist and creative director, Megan Martin-Foy, has been a long-time fan of author Sarah J. Maas, recently delving into the series Throne of Glass and igniting her fascination with dark, fantastical themes. Through the use of shredded, theatrical styling and the experimentation of texture and light seen in the work of photographer, Sasha Vanner, a haunting yet ethereal gothic romance is brought to life. The contrast in this creature’s raw vulnerability and quiet power mirrors the hidden beauty we seek to find in the shadows.
