London-born, Portugal-made Les Basics seeks to redefine staple pieces with a refined approach to materials and fabrication. The menswear brand is invested in making the basic wardrobe not so basic as they elevate each design by working with high-quality materials that combine comfort and functionality without compromising on style.
As part of their Autumn/Winter drop, Les Basics introduces us to another premium collection expanding the brand's growing presence in the marketplace. The outerwear and accessory collection is part of the Autumn Hiver 2019 release counting with two new and iconic collaborations dropping later this year.
This time around, premium wool is included in the collection as is combined with the ultra-soft brushed fleece. The outcome is a mixture of warmth and a feel of luxury without taking things too far. The element of comfort is still a big feature in the collection and keeps things under the Les Basics' design and manufacturing ethos. The aim is to, once again, create pieces that work together through a combination of colorways, textures, and layering as well as standing alone when mixed and matched with the consumer's already existing wardrobe.
Autumn/Winter sees a bright and vibrant colorway where bright mustard, olive green, and nude tones meet the bolder navy and raspberry. The recognizable Les Basics' print ‘EVERYJOUR’ - a playful Franglais used as the brand's signature - is seen across the sweats and t-shirts. As another addition to this season, the Le Polo Sweat takes inspiration from classic Tennis shirt creating a subtle feeling of nostalgia and playfulness.
