In Season 6 Episode 19 of Sex and the City, the protagonist Carrie Bradshaw, dressed in her Versace gown, dismally looks out her hotel window in Paris waiting for her lover Alexsandr Petrovsky to pick her up, as she narrates, “All dressed up, and no Petrovsky to go.” Thinking she has just been ghosted, Carrie falls asleep on her bed (still in Versace). Being glammed up from head to toe but with nowhere to go, is a sentiment carried in Alma Rosaz’s collaboration with stylist Twinks Burnett. In F Word's latest photo series with model and makeup artist Coryn Betts, Rosaz thinks back to the time when so much effort and dedication underlined the art of getting dressed up to go out. But similar to Carrie’s lament, Coyrn gets out her fancy dresses and accessories only to find herself ghosted by the nightlife and party world. Such glam and carefree life surely do not deserve to go unnoticed, so we’re very glad a photoshoot was born. Hair by Ky Wilson.
