From a fusion of South African, British, and Jamaican roots, CaviarGabe is an artist whose music transcends borders and genres. Blending hip-hop and jazz, his sound resonates with a globally reflecting his multicultural upbringing. Born in South Africa and now based in London, CaviarGabe’s journey from Johannesburg to the UK has shaped his perspective and fuelled his creativity and set him on a journey of self-discovery and authenticity. As a multidisciplinary artist, CaviarGabe wears many hats – ranging from a painter and creative director to a model. Being a mixed-race individual in a society overcoming apartheid informs the core of his art. His work reflects the nuances of his circumstances, intertwining personal experiences with a broader narrative of social change and identity exploration.
Recently performing at O2 Academy, he has an upcoming show at Brixton Jamm which will be on September 22nd, 2023. Across his musical and artistic endeavours, CaviarGabe remains a testament to the power of cultural fusion and the universal language of creativity
