Oklahoma-born singer-songwriter and pianist Greyson Chance is back with his stunning second single of the year, 'Haymaker,' following last month’s release of 'Rearview Mirror.'"
"Haymaker," inspired by a tragic fallout with his brother, is an emotionally charged track that delves into the depths of unconditional love. The lyrics are both accessible and introspective, inviting listeners to reflect deeply. Blending a high-spirited folk twang at its core, the song offers a unique and engaging beat. Speaking about the track, Chance explains, “Things got physical between my brother and me. 'Haymaker' is influenced by a punch, but it’s much more than that. I haven’t really spoken to him in three years. Family is everything until there’s nothing left.”
Greyson utilises his folk and country-influenced roots to create refreshing music, weaving metaphors and narratives that transport listeners on a compelling journey.
