This summer marks a significant milestone for the multifaceted Irish artist, chameleon as he unveils his highly-anticipated EP ‘CALL ME TWICE PT. 1’. Following the viral triumph of ‘Who’s That Girl’ featuring KhakiKid and CARSTEN2X, chameleon breaks his two-year silence with this bold new project.

“This E.P. marks the first step towards a sound I’ve been searching for for years,” chameleon reveals. Known for his perfectionist nature, he describes the EP as an authentic representation of his artistic vision. “I adore CALL ME TWICE PT. 1. It is bold, boisterous, often obnoxious, and it collects and exhibits the dirty and the ugly of who I am at my core. I hope people hear the city in this project. The noise, the chaos, the frustration. I hope they hear the longing to be somewhere else, someone else. This is the start of the story.”

In celebration of this new release, chameleon shares the single ‘Made You Look’. Inspired by Thom Yorke’s vocal style, the track notably delves into themes of detachment and lack of accountability. It showcases chameleon’s unique ability to transcend genres and evoke deep emotions through his addictive sound. He describes the song as “an amalgamation of all of the other songs” on the EP, reflecting a complex narrative of emotional distance and inner conflict. “The first half of the song displays this toxicity from a hard shell before getting glimpses in the second half of a soft interior,” he explains.

chameleon’s journey is one of continual exploration and reinvention. ‘CALL ME TWICE PT. 1’ not only marks his return but also sets the stage for a new chapter for this one-to-watch artist. With his fearless approach to music and storytelling, chameleon continues to captivate audiences, inviting them into his world of chaotic beauty and introspective depth. Stay tuned for more from chameleon as he continues to push the boundaries of his craft, one evocative note at a time!
