chlothegod balances the pull of external validation with real, inner growth, creating something truly resonant for her community and beyond. Her 11-track album, I Feel Different Every Day (Deluxe), is a testament to that journey.

To mark its release, F Word asked the rising star to take us on A Day in the Life during her London trip this summer - from her headline show and studio sessions, to exploring the city’s “offy’s” and discussing manifestations, motivations, and so wise-words of advise.

F Word: If you had to choose a new career completely outside of anything having to do with music, what would it be?

chlothegod: If I had to choose a new career I think I would go to culinary school and put some time behind my passion to cook. It already feels like an art to create a meal from scratch but sometimes I dream of having a little neighbourhood restaurant.

F Word: What's bringing the most joy to your days lately?

chlothegod: Reading is doing it for me. I write so much every day me and my friends have started a little book club in hopes of replenishing our creative well. 

F Word: What's motivating you the most lately?

chlothegod: I’m motivated by the idea out outdoing myself. I feel so lucky to finally watch my dreams actualize - it’s so inspiring to dreaaaammmm big!! 

F Word: What advice do you have for yourself for tomorrow?

chlothegod: I’d say 'girl go to bed an hour earlier and get off that damn phone.' I’m desperately trying to return to my routine but because I’ve been out of it so long I’m rebelling against my system and calling it autonomy. Doing the shit I have to do is blowing me these days but I know I must so I can continue to do what I want to do. 

F Word: The world would be better without__? The world would be worse without ___?

chlothegod: The world would be better without distraction. I think a lot of us are escaping instead of handling the hard stuff. And much much worse without forgiveness!! 

F Word: Do you believe in manifestation?

chlothegod: Well of course I believe in manifestation. I write words for a living and now it supports my life! There’s no greater power than when my mind meets my mouth. 

F Word: What is your favourite "F" Word?

chlothegod: My favorite F word is friendship :) I love my girls, I see God in them and they’re who taught me what love is supposed to feel like.
