Billionaire Boys Club EU has teamed up with iconic streetwear label NEIGHBORHOOD for the creation of a one of a kind capsule collection, dropping later this month. Shinsuke Takizawa's NEIGHBORHOOD has become widely known for its premium quality motorcycle apparel combined with military, workwear, counter-culture as well as traces of Native American and outdoor themes. NEIGHBORHOOD is today considered as one of the most influential brands in modern contemporary streetwear while sitting alongside WTAPS, UNDERCOVER, and A Bathing Ape which makes this new collaboration with BBC EU a smart and powerful move within the streetwear scene.
For this season, the two major labels have created a clothing capsule which seeks to highlight their London, New York, and Tokyo stores while combining the iconic futuristic element of Billionaire Boys Club with Neighborhood’s Americana, workwear references. The capsule is, as you would expect, packed with high-quality and design perfection while remianing functional and fashionable in tune with today's streetwear demands.
Both BBC EU and NEIGHBORHOOD have been for a long time at the forefront of Japan’s original streetwear scene, while Billionaire Boys Club has had ties with the nation’s streetwear community ever since. As a result, the collaboration between BBC and NEIGHBORHOOD has occurred naturally and effortlessly before and now this collaboration seems to highlight the ongoing cross partnership from London to Tokyo and New York.
The capsule includes a BBC London Exclusive Varsity Jacket with a melton body and leather sleeves. In addition to the London Exclusive, there will be a second Varsity Jacket, Hoodie, and a T-Shirt, with retail prices varying from £100 to £750.
The capsule collection will be availablefrom 22nd November from Billionaire Boys Club’s EU Store, the BBC EU Web Store.
