THE RAVE KIDS CÎROC VODKA TEAMS UP WITH LOVE MAGAZINE FOR A RAVE BASH words Filipe Phitzgerard - images courtesy of Cîroc Vodka
London Fashion Week would not be complete without a good ol' LOVE "partey" soaked in great drinks and infused with the best dance music you can find. This season was no different as Love Magazine partnered with CÎROC Vodka for one of the coolest and highly anticipated parties of the week where some of the most fashionable people in the most creative looks walked down the stairs at the Strand for a Rave night.
The night started really well and on a high note; with LOVE's signature set with Naomi Campbell screaming ‘DON’T COMPARE YOURSELF TO ME, EVER’ and then transitioning into a nostalgic and eclectic set including some of the best hist of the years 2000 - Avril Lavigne's Sk8er Boi (2002) took us all the all back to our puberty years - oh boy! Kylie Minogue, RuPaul, and Madonna also made an appearance in the set list and made every millennial in the room sing off their lungs.
The feeling in the atmosphere was incredibly good and liberating and the Negroskis - courtesy of CÎROC Vodka - went down smooth and elegant while setting free the wild child inside every partygoer in the room. And as far as fashion parties go, well, there were a lot of gorgeous and out-there looks that made the whole experience even more surreal just as you would expect at a fashion party in one of the most creative and fashionable cities in the world. As you made your way down the dance floor, some known faces - and sometimes bodies - could be seen droppin' like it's hot.
The extra adorable and gorgeous Adwoa Aboah, Gigi Hari and social activist Munroe Bergdorf were there dancing the night away along with pop music icon Paloma Faith while Brooklyn Beckham and his main girl Hana Cross were also seen shakin' it. Among the fashion talent in the room were Matty Bovan, L'Oreal's Professional Young Talent Award winner Paolina RussoFashion designer and contemporary avant-gardist Charles Jeffrey also made a special appearance and got sweaty - with style - at the rave bash.
LOVE's "partey" was truly a bash where charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talent were showcased in the best form as possible and reiterated why London is the place to be when it comes to freedom of expression and a good hardcore party night. Thanks Katie Grand for having us and CÎROC Vodka for the delicious drinks; we are still recovering from them. Wink Wink.
