MODELS REFLECT ISOLATION: RAPHAEL MILNE

RAPHAEL MILNE, London at Elite

reflecting isolation

F WORD: How have you been dealing with the whole isolation thing?

RAPHAEL MILNE: I generally don't mind being in isolation! However, I really miss my friends right now.

F WORD: What have you been doing to occupy your time and mind?

RAPHAEL MILNE: I have been spending lots of my time trying to learn new instruments, painting, listening to new music constantly, watching Netflix (of course) and learning to sew. I'm not very good at the moment, though!

F WORD: How are you feeling about the COVID-19 pandemic?

RAPHAEL MILNE: It is a very weird situation but I feel quite positive and hopeful that we can all get through this... I am worried about what the future holds within the next couple of months, especially with my school work! But I guess we will need to adapt.

F WORD: What are your thoughts on how your government and the world is dealing with it?

RAPHAEL MILNE: I think our government stupidly thought it was a joke at first. I don't think they realised how bad this would turn out to be. I am glad to see they are finally taking it more seriously and all I can hope for is that the government gives the amazing NHS workers everything they need! However; I am scared for my close friends in Italy and Spain who are telling me some worrying stories about it, but we have to stay hopeful.

F WORD: What would be your perfect soundtrack for this time?

RAPHAEL MILNE: Any Tyler The Creator or Chance The Rapper songs!

F WORD: Can you suggest a movie/series/or book we should check out during isolation?

RAPHAEL MILNE: My family and I have been enjoying Prison Break... I would also recommend the book 'Twas a Nightshift Before Christmas' by Adam Kay. This one is pretty good.

F WORD: A Hopeful statement to encourage others:

RAPHAEL MILNE: Let's not let this bad situation bring out the negative in us! We must look out for each other and choose to be positive!

F WORD: Favourite F-word

RAPHAEL MILNE: 'Fidget' because I am one.
