MODELS REFLECT ISOLATION: ILANA LUNA

ILANA LUNA, London at Select reflecting isolation

F WORD: How have you been dealing with the whole isolation thing? ILANA LUNA: I’ve been dealing okay with it as I’ve been trying to keep myself busy every day.

F WORD: What have you been doing to occupy your time and mind? ILANA LUNA: I’ve been making TikTok videos with my sister and going on long walks with my mum and sister and also working out twice a week. I have also been baking which has been really fun.

F WORD: How are you feeling about the COVID-19 pandemic? ILANA LUNA: It’s obviously a big change in people’s day to day life’s and I can understand it can be frustrating but I feel for the people who are doing their best to do everything they can to help this get better.

F WORD: What are your thoughts on how our government and the world is dealing with it? ILANA LUNA: It’s very frustrating to see the public still going out and not following the rules as everyone knows they don’t want this to be getting any worse and only for it to get better so it can be extremely frustrating at times when you see or hear that are still a lot of people not complying with the isolation measures.

F WORD: What would be your perfect soundtrack for this time? ILANA LUNA: I’m listening to a lot of Daniel Caesar and Tom Misch at the moment. Both singers create music that is relaxing and that ease the mind.

F WORD: Can you suggest a movie/series/or book we should check out during isolation? ILANA LUNA: My sister and I got into DisneyPlus and have been watching all of the High school musicals again [haha], it’s so much fun and it is a great distraction to what’s going on.

F WORD: A hopeful statement to encourage others: ILANA LUNA: I’d say just keep yourself busy and your mind active every single day, as soon as it’s a new day, make it a little different to the last day and just remember each day is closer to hope and life coming back to normal again.

F WORD: Favourite F-word: ILANA LUNA: Faith!
