GUDMUNDUR ARNI, 19, Iceland at Menace

reflecting isolation

F WORD: How have you been dealing with the whole isolation thing? GUD ARNI: I'm kind of not in isolation since I'm still working at a kindergarten in Reykjavík, Iceland. But it's pretty boring to stay at home all the time after work especially since the English Premier League has been postponed. I also miss modelling :(.

F WORD: What have you been doing to occupy your time and mind? GUD ARNI: I've been watching TV, listening to music, working out at home and playing some video games.

F WORD: How are you feeling about the COVID-19 pandemic? GUD ARNI: It's a scary thing, but I feel like I'm pretty safe. I just go to work and straight home again and of course to the store if needed. It's sad that all the Fashion Weeks have been postponed; I was really excited about them but safety and the recovery of those ill is the priority now. I hope I can travel and model again soon.

F WORD: What are your thoughts on how your government and the world is dealing with it? GUD ARNI: I think Iceland has dealt pretty well with the situation, but some other countries could have reacted differently and quicker.

F WORD: What would be your perfect soundtrack for this time? GUD ARNI: 'No More Parties In LA' by Kanye West.

F WORD: Can you suggest a movie/series/or book we should check out during isolation? GUD ARNI: Quicksand - Störst av alt (Series on Netflix).

F WORD: A hopeful statement to encourage others: GUD ARNI: We will be able to return to our normal lives again soon; just try to work on yourself and use the time wisely.

F WORD: Favourite f-word: GUD ARNI: Fashionmonger!
