COSIMA ROSS, London at CONTACT AGENCY
F WORD: How have you been dealing with the whole isolation thing? COSIMA ROSS: I’m a very affectionate person, so this whole social distancing and isolation thing is a bit tricky for me; but, I’ve moved back to live with my family during this time, which is quite nice.
F WORD: What have you been doing to occupy your time and mind? COSIMA ROSS: I’ve been doing a lot of painting and reading and trying to knit a cardigan. The other day I made some really disgusting mayonnaise. I've also written a few letters to friends.
F WORD: How are you feeling about the COVID-19 pandemic? COSIMA ROSS: I’m finding the pandemic quite frightening; as someone who is reasonably healthy, I’m worried for those who are more at risk. It’s important not to be selfish during these times and to look after one another with compassion.
F WORD: What are your thoughts on how the government and the world are dealing with it? COSIMA ROSS: I’m glad that we’ve been put under lockdown, although, the government could have acted sooner and taken warning from other countries that had already been in lockdown. I think more could have been done quicker if we had seen what was approaching us.
F WORD: What would be your perfect soundtrack for this time? COSIMA ROSS: I usually listen to a lot of blues and Tulsa music, so I think that’s pretty perfect for the moment. I also just found this band Tale and I’m really enjoying listening to them.
F WORD: Can you suggest a movie/series/or book we should check out during isolation? COSIMA ROSS: I recently watched the film 'Gully Boy' which was amazing and I’ve been reading 'Autumn' by Ali Smith. I would recommend them both.
F WORD: A hopeful statement to encourage others: COSIMA ROSS: It’s an anxious time for everyone at the moment so it’s important to be kind and considerate to each other and help each other where we can.
F WORD: Favourite f-word: COSIMA ROSS: I would say; FUNKY. Yeah, I like 'funky'!
