reflecting isolation
F WORD: How have you been dealing with the whole isolation thing?
ALEXANDRA HUTCHISON: Isolation is actually going okay; for me, it’s all about keeping busy. For example, catching up with people you don’t normally see or speak to, cooking, doing exercise... but also I would say it’s been the best time to just relax and enjoy the people around me even if you spend all day in bed it’s okay to do that.
F WORD: What have you been doing to occupy your time and mind?
ALEXANDRA HUTCHISON: I started crocheting bikinis and tops, making earrings, baking, cooking, doing at-home workouts... there are so many things to do!
F WORD: How are you feeling about the COVID-19 pandemic?
ALEXANDRA HUTCHISON: Obviously, it’s a horrible situation, lots of people are losing there lives so we all have to help each other through this. But I feel very positive, hopefully, we will be able to all work together to fix the problem and then go back to our everyday lives.
F WORD: What are your thoughts on how the government and the world are dealing with it?
ALEXANDRA HUTCHISON: I'd prefer not to comment. ;)
F WORD: What would be your perfect soundtrack for this time?
ALEXANDRA HUTCHISON: 'Clouds' by Isaiah Dreads.
F WORD: What are you looking forward to the most once this is all over?
ALEXANDRA HUTCHISON: Of course, the summer and travelling with my friends. I so look forward to this all year round. [Laughs]
F WORD: Can you suggest a movie/series/or book we should check out during isolation?
ALEXANDRA HUTCHISON: Yes, you should read the trilogy from Kerstin Gier. I recommend them! They’re called Ruby, Emerald and Sapphire.
F WORD: A hopeful statement to encourage others:
ALEXANDRA HUTCHISON: Time heals everything.
F WORD: Favourite F-word:
ALEXANDRA HUTCHISON: Fearless.
