ALEXANDER IMMONEN, 19, Sweden at Menace
reflecting isolation
F WORD: How have you been dealing with the whole isolation thing?
ALEXANDER IMMONEN: Sweden is not entirely in lockdown yet, but everything has been closed for the last few days. We are still being able to do most things we were before.
F WORD: What have you been doing to occupy your time and mind?
ALEXANDER IMMONEN: I’ve been thinking about which new tattoos I am gonna get, spending time with my girlfriend, watching movies/listened to music and taking the time to rest and reflect.
F WORD: How are you feeling about the COVID-19 pandemic?
ALEXANDER IMMONEN: COVID-19 is a global crisis, especially for young people like myself (regarding unemployment), also small businesses and people who are in the risk groups. Hopefully, the cure will be found ASAP because otherwise, I'm unsure of how we will recover.
F WORD: What are your thoughts on how your government and the world are dealing with it?
ALEXANDER IMMONEN: The Swedish government is handling this way too slowly, not enough tests and personally I think we should do a national lockdown if everything is closed already anyways.
F WORD: What would be your perfect soundtrack for this time?
ALEXANDER IMMONEN: 'Fetti' by Playboi Carti; not because of the quarantine, only because it’s been my favourite song for the last 3 years.
F WORD: Can you suggest a movie/series/or book we should check out during isolation?
ALEXANDER IMMONEN: American Psycho and The Shining are two of my personal favourites where both have the theme of isolation. For me, it shows you how NOT to react during these times. [Wink]
F WORD: A hopeful statement to encourage others:
ALEXANDER IMMONEN: Stay safe, take care of your family and STAY INSIDE. We will have plenty of time to do whatever we want whenever this is over.
F WORD: Favourite F-word:
ALEXANDER IMMONEN: Fuck, easily. [Haha]
