MODELS REFLECT ISOLATION: ALAN DOMINGUEZ

ALAN DOMINGUEZ, London at Nevs

reflecting isolation

F WORD: How have you been dealing with the whole isolation thing?
ALAN DOMINGUEZ:
So far so good. I've just been keeping myself busy exercising and reading and watching many funny shows on Netflix to keep me laughing but I do miss chilling with friends and boxing (especially sparring).

F WORD: What have you been doing to occupy your time and mind?
ALAN DOMINGUEZ:
I've been reading a lot to keep my mind busy and I've also started to do a lot of cycling which I enjoy a lot more than running. I'm also trying to polish up on my Spanish as I've forgotten how to speak it fluently since I moved to England.

F WORD: How are you feeling about the COVID-19 pandemic?
ALAN DOMINGUEZ:
At first it felt very scary and surreal only because the way people were panic buying and were leaving the store shelves empty but I think now everything is a bit calmer but it's still very surreal.

F WORD: What are your thoughts on how our government and the world is dealing with it?
ALAN DOMINGUEZ:
I think the government is dealing with it pretty well now. I just wished they took it a bit more serious at the start and thank you to all our NHS staff on the frontline fighting this pandemic.

F WORD: What would be your perfect soundtrack for this time?
ALAN DOMINGUEZ:
Nafe Smallz x M Huncho's 'Like A Film.'

F WORD: Can you suggest a movie/series/or book we should check out during isolation?
ALAN DOMINGUEZ:
One of my two favourite series at the moment is “It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia” and “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air”. They both crack me up and I'm enjoying every minute of it. I will also recommend “Think and Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill. I find this book really helpful.

F WORD: A hopeful statement to encourage others:
ALAN DOMINGUEZ:
Remember to always look on the bright side and see the light at the end of the tunnel and make the most out this time to make something creative or learn a new set of skills.

F WORD: Favourite f-word:
ALAN DOMINGUEZ:
Food; because I'm a big food lover.
