LOCKDOWN FEELS LIKE... Isolation has been going good so far. I usually reside in London, but I flew back home to the Caribbean on March 15th, right before France announced quarantine. I'm conscious of the fact that my isolating conditions are somewhat a blessing in comparison to many and it feels good to be in my home island with my mom.

LOCKDOWN ACTIVITIES... I have been tanning and sleeping a lot [LOL]. I also got time to start drawing again and take photos with my film camera. I have been engaging in some very nice and constructive discussions with my mother; whom I don't get to see that often. My uni also started online classes, however, because of the time difference and the shitty internet here, it's been quite a challenge to keep up, but we

manage.

LOCKDOWN NOSTALGIA... Dinners with my friends.

ONE UPSIDE OF LOCKDOWN... Apart from reconnecting with some of my old hobbies, I got to do some much-needed self-reflection. I feel like this situation has allowed for quite a lot of us to reflect on our lives, our habits, our society and what we take for granted. I have had some people, who are very close to me, get directly affected by the pandemic; and, apart from this whole thing bringing out the nasty in a lot of people, I think one of the worst parts in all of this is the number of people who couldn't say goodbye to there loved ones.
