NAME, AGE, LOCATION: Dmitrij Palenis, 17, Moscow region of Dubna, Russia.

LOCKDOWN MOOD: Mostly bored and time seems not to pass when you are in lockdown.

LOCKDOWN ACTIVITIES: I spend almost all of my time preparing for the Unified State Exam (USE) in the Russian Language.

HOW DO THE PANDEMIC AND LOCKDOWN FEEL LIKE IN YOUR COUNTRY? HOW ABOUT THE GOVERNMENT RESPONSE? To be honest, it feels like I'm not safe. The government, in my opinion, has not introduced enough measures to make the fight against COVID-19 faster and safer for all the people in our country. A pass-through system was introduced (before leaving the house, you need to open the application on your smartphone and generate a QR code that lasted from 2 to 24 hours, depending on the purpose of leaving the house), but it normally works only in Moscow, in the regions, this is especially not followed. Also, from May 12th a mask regime was introduced, which we were obligated to follow and it meant we had to wear medical masks in crowded places, shops, bank branches and so on. There is a fine for violation of the mask regime - 4000 rubles (56.2 $ / 51.05 €). Most people, despite all these measures, do not listen to anyone and do not observe self-isolation and do not use personal protective equipment.

HOW MUCH HAS LIFE CHANGED SINCE THE LOCKDOWN? You have to find new ways to communicate with your friends, new activities in addition to the endless preparation for the USE. Daily walks through the streets, meetings with friends have disappeared from life. Ordinary life began to feel completely different.

LOCKDOWN NOSTALGIA: The first thing I thought about was friends. Not enough live interaction.

ONE UPSIDE OF THE LOCKDOWN: I’ve got more time to understand myself, my thoughts and just to deal with everything that happens in life.

A NEW SKILL BIRTHED IN LOCKDOWN: I learned how to cook delicious cinnamon croissants!

LOCKDOWN PARTNER: I’m isolating with my mother; it is just the two of us.

FIRST ACTIVITY ONCE THE LOCKDOWN IS OVER: I'd like to go to the Promenade and ride on it on a penny board.

CONSTANT LOCKDOWN FEELING: Sleepy and a little lost.

LAST LOCKDOWN MESSAGE: “I’ll send you a voice message in Telegram.”

LOCKDOWN IS A MOVIE... Groundhog Day.

TODAY IN A WORD: Monotony.

SOMETHING TO WORRY ABOUT IN THE NEAR FUTURE: I’m afraid that I’ll forget how to communicate normally with people in real life.

THE HOPE FOR THE NEAR FEATURE: After the pandemic-related event ends I must try myself as a barista! I'd like to try it!
