MODELS REFLECT ISOLATION: DANIEL NORRIS

DANIEL NORRIS, 18, London at MENACE

reflecting isolation

F WORD: How have you been dealing with the whole isolation thing? DANIEL NORRIS: I think it is very sad with all what’s going on in the world right now, but I am making the most out of a bad situation and keeping myself busy.

F WORD: What have you been doing to occupy your time and mind? DANIEL NORRIS: I’ve been exercising in the garden with my skateboard, boxing, and skipping; also, in the evenings I’ve been cooking dinners for my family, which is quite nice to be able to do. I also have been taking full advantage of my free time to polish up my mixing skills, discovering new music and watching Live Mixes.

F WORD: How are you feeling about the COVID-19 pandemic? DANIEL NORRIS: It’s quite scary to think of how a virus can have such devastating effects on the world.

F WORD: What are your thoughts on how our government and the world is dealing with it? DANIEL NORRIS: I think that the UK should have dealt with this sooner to save lives, possibly gone into lockdown at the same time as other countries they were also going through it; but, only time will tell whether their decisions were good enough or not. I'm glad that the government are going to help us financially, but it will have a devastating effect on the economy.

F WORD: What would be your perfect soundtrack for this time? DANIEL NORRIS: Now Jazz by GOLFOS.

F WORD: Can you suggest a movie/series/or book we should check out during isolation? DANIEL NORRIS: 2012 by Roland Emmerich.

F WORD: A hopeful statement to encourage others:

DANIEL NORRIS: Even after the worst storms, the sun with shine again.

F WORD: Favourite f-word: DANIEL NORRIS: Flossing!
